Mr/Miss Pride on The Plains
(Oct. 27th, 2018)
The Pride on The Plains Board of Governors welcomes you to "Mr & Miss Pride on The Plains," Saturday, October 27th, 2018, The Corner Bar (upstairs of Irish Bred Pub), where we hope to crown our next Mr. and Miss Pride on The Plains! We will also honor our current Mr Pride on The Plains, Derik H Wood, and Miss Pride on The Plains, Addison Vontrell. Special guest performances include, Miss Illinois Continental, Brittany Moore!
Contestants will compete in the following categories: presentation, evening wear, question and answer, and talent. Pageant winners will represent Pride on The Plains for one calendar year (i.e., October 2018 - October 2019), in addition to receiving a crown, sash, bookings, and a $300 cash prize!
Contestants can secure pageant packets on the Pride on The Plains website (i.e., to the right, just below this text). Pageant packets can also be secured by emailing the current Benefits and Fundraisers Chairperson, Timothy Peacock, (fundraising@prideontheplains.com).

Back by very, very popular demand, Pride on the Plains is thrilled to announce the next installment of drag-themed brunch in Auburn/Opelika! Christmas Drag Brunch at Zazu Gastropub will take place Sunday, December 3rd, at 12:00 PM. Remember, proceeds raised during brunch, including raffle donations, benefit Pride on the Plains!
What a bright time, it's the right time, to brunch the afternoon away. And what brunch is complete without fantastic food, delicious drinks, and exceptional entertainment? This is one holiday spectacular you don't want to miss. With Cotaliya Vontrapp as your ho-ho-hostess, join Imberli Vontrell, Cora Bleu, Santana Sangria Bro, Colana Bleu, Dani Californía, and Donna Devastation, as your hometown entertainers find out who's been naughty and who's been nice. This winter wonderland includes special performances from your Mr. Pride on the Plains, Derik Hardwood, and Miss Pride on the Plains, Addison Vontrell. Holiday tunes are being provided by Santa's little helper, DJ SID.

Pride on the Plains Pageant

The Pride on the Plains Board of Governors is excited to announce the first annual Pride on the Plains Pageant, taking place Friday, October 6th, from 10:00 PM to 12:00 PM, at DeRailed Bar & Grill!
Contestants will vie for the titles of Miss and Mr. Pride on the Plains 2018, participating in several competition rounds throughout the night, including evening wear, talent, and a presentation round that's centered around colors from the Pride flag. Winners will receive a photoshoot with Megan Leah Photography, a custom crown from Alabama Crowns, paid bookings with Roy G Biv, Auburn/Opelika's Friday-night cast, and a $100 cash prize.
Will you be there when we crown Miss and Mr. Pride on the Plains 2018? Remember, 100% entrance fees ($5, 21-and-over / $10,18-and-over), are being donated to Pride on the Plains. Special performances that night from Miss Birmingham Rising Star, Imberli Vontrell, Miss Central Alabama Pride, Lotus DiArmani, from Splash Bar Florida, Robby Foster (Envy Duvall), and from MESS by Jacob Garcia, Santana Sangria Bro.

Pride on the Plains Car Wash (Aug. 26, 2017)
Pride on the Plains Board of Governors is "working at the car wash," with proceeds benefitting Pride on the Plains! Be sure to pass by Co. Athletics and Wellness, Saturday, August 26th, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and receive the best fundraiser car wash expereince in the Auburn/Opelika area! How much to have your car washed, you say? You're in luck, becuase the Car Wash with Pride on the Plains is 100% donation-based! That means that $20, $10, $5, or even $1 gets your car looking clean! Remember, your support during events like these makes next year's Pride on the Plains all the more real! So bring the family, bring the friends, and most importantly, bring the fun! Because we're having a fun-filled afternoon at the Car Wash with Pride on the Plains!

So, you think you can sing? Well, Pride on the Plains wants to hear what you've got! Join us on Thursday, July 27th, at DeRailed Bar & Grill (830 Opelika Road, Auburn, Alabama, 36830) for Kamikaze Karaoke! The first contestant takes the mic at 9:00 PM! Here's how everything works...
- Donating just $1 lets you select one random song from "the bucket." Note, "the bucket" contains songs that have been pre-selected by the Pride on the Plains Benefits and Fundraising Committee. Don't know the song you've selected? Donating just another $1 lets you select another song.
- Don't want to select a random song? Donating more than $1 lets you choose your song!
- Donors can win prizes throughout the night!

Remember, funds raised during drag dining experiences benefit Pride on the Plains.

StarQuest Singing Competition
(Dec. 9th, 2017)
We're looking for the voice that will represent Pride on the Plains! Whether it's opening one of our many pre-Pride events, headlining a float during the Pride Parade through historic downtown Opelika, or taking the stage during the Pride Festival in Kiesel Park, the "StarQuest" Singing Competition Champion will have their vocal talents showcased throughout the Auburn/Opelika area! We're looking forward to this exciting event!
Want to compete? Registration takes place that night, Saturday, December 9th, at 10:00 PM, at DeRailed Bar & Grill. Come with one song to perform. Please bring supporting music as needed (e.g., instrumental tracks). Note, contestants must have music on a personal hard drive during registration. Also, contestants can be solo acts, duets, trios, and more!
The StarQuest Singing Competition Champion receives the following prizes...
- $100 prize during StarQuest Singing Competition.
- $100 booking during next year's Pride Festival.
- $100 booking during next year's StarQuest Singing Competition.
